On April 28th, 1968 Duvall Washington earned a page in the History of Rock and Roll as the location for the first outdoor music festival held on private property. It's a roucus story of a couple farmers, a helecopter, a piano, a band called Country Joe and the Fish, and about 9000 hippies dancing around a big target on the ground.
